Claiming the free start, and the once-per-website rule

Four fields and one click on the confirmation link. What counts as one website, and fixes for common problems.

Claiming the free start takes less than a minute, and it needs no payment card and no account. Here are the steps, the rules, and the fixes for common problems.

The steps

  1. Open seomisr.com/free and fill in four fields: your name, your email, your website and what you do.
  2. We email you a confirmation link. Click it. The link proves the email address is yours, and nothing starts before you click it.
  3. Once you confirm, your claim joins the production queue, and we produce the page and the article.
  4. We email you the links to both pieces when they are published.

The once-per-website rule

The offer can be used once per website. To decide what counts as the same website, we look at the root of the address, not at how it was typed:

  • www.yourbrand.com, yourbrand.com and shop.yourbrand.com are one website.
  • It makes no difference whether you type https:// or not, or add a page path to the address.

If the website has already used the offer, the form tells you straight away, instead of accepting a request we would have to refuse.

Situations you may meet

The website has already had its free start. The offer is once per website, and this website has used it. You can order paid work whenever you like.

Someone started a free claim for this website and has not confirmed it yet. This is a temporary hold, not a use of the offer. If you started it, the confirmation link is in your inbox. If you cannot find it, or it was not you, an unconfirmed claim expires after 48 hours, and the free start becomes available again for this website.

You sent the form again with the same email. We send you the same confirmation link again, and we do not create a new claim.

Common problems

  • The confirmation email did not arrive: look in your spam or junk folder. Or send the form again with the same email address, and the same link reaches you again.
  • You typed your email wrong: if you try again with another address within 48 hours, the form tells you the website is on hold, because the first claim has not been confirmed. After that you can claim again, or write to us before then and we help.
  • You clicked the confirmation link twice: no problem. You see the success message again, and no second order is created.
  • The form does not accept your website address: type it in a form like yourbrand.com.

After you confirm

There is nothing else to do. When both pieces are published, you get an email with the links. Open them, read them and judge for yourself. If you want to order more later, every price is on one page, and an article starts at $15.

A tip before you send

Write a full phrase in the "What do you do?" field, not a single word. "Children's dental clinic, content in English" gives us a much clearer starting point than "dental". That example is illustrative.
